Question
Answer: Hello! It is absolutely normal to have it. It is part of pregnancy, this is due to the growing uterus.  Also, usually, pregnant women tend to experience symptoms of excessive hardness after the second trimester as it is then that the foetal skeleton develops and expands at the same time. The belly becomes hard after the bones in the baby's body starts to take shape.  Hope this was helpful. Take care

Question: Hi sometimes I feel a bulge on the stomach, sometimes it 'll be on the sides . What is it ? And the stomach gets hard at that time.
Answer: Hello dear, it is probably your baby head or bum... And your stomach getting hard is probably because you're experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions... these contractions come and go on their own.. they feel like sudden tightening of your abdomen.. they're uterine contractions which the body initiates to prepare itself for labour.. they don't cause dilation of the cervix.. they do not cause pre term labour or any harm to your baby... it can also occur if you're not drinking sufficient amount of water... so ensure that you are properly hydrated..
