Question: Why do babies make hiccups....my baby make hicupps now and then how to treat it?is it normal?

Answer: Yes it normal.... Nothing to worry. But if it persist for more then 10 mins and occur more then 3 times in a day.. Do consult a pediatrician. You can treat it by gentle tapping in the back of the baby, give a feed (either breast milk or formula feed) And give pacifier... Sucking does help in calming the hiccup. Hope this helps
