Question: what does it mean if one line is dark and second is lighter in pregnancy tester?
Answer: A faint line still indicates a positive pregnancy. A faint line may indicate that u took the test too early when there was not enough HCG available in ur urine to produce a dark line. Or, it could be embryo didn't implant and, hence, there was not enough HCG being produced. If the embryo does in fact implant and being to grow, hCG levels will rise and then should get darker. hCG levels are abundantly present 2-3days after your missed period(15-16 days after ovulation), so if u have faint line wait after you missed period to test.

Question: what does it mean if one line is dark and second is lighter in pregnancy tester?
Answer: Hello dear!It might be too early in pregnancy at this time for you to confirm your pregnancy. The Hcg levels are probably not high enough to be detected. It is the same for ultrasound. It takes time for the yolk sac and fetal pole to be detectedAfter the 6th week will be the right time to detect the growth and viability of the fetus.Till then ,u will have to wait patiently.Take care.
