Question: Can we take a new born baby in flight
Answer: Welcome to healofy and we are happy to help. If your baby is at least two days old, most airlines should be happy to fly your baby. However, some airlines will insist that your baby is at least two weeks old. There are no standard regulations, so it's best to check with your airline before you book. Also an infant's immune system would be week and does not match the viruses and bacteria that float around on airplanes and in airports. Hope this information was helpful.

Question: hi everyone. I m 7 weeks pregnant. is it safe to take 1 hr flight?
Answer: Travelling is only advisable in the 2nd trimester... it is best to avoid otherwise... In case it is an emergency proper precautions has to be taken based on the mode of transport, place of travel and hours of journey. Air travels usually have their own guidelines regarding pregnant women. Mention about the time of pregnancy to your airlines provider. Some airlines provide insurance too. Care must be taken to how high (altitude) the plane is flying - do not fly high altitudes. Take short walks slowly and carefully. Drink sufficient amount of water.
