Question: what diet can follow to prevent diabetes during pregnancy
Answer: There's no "special diet" for gestational diabetes. General principles of healthy eating apply. The most important thing is that you eat few processed foods, because they contain empty calories, and eat plenty of vegetables and "natural" foods. Eat a good breakfast. Your blood glucoselevels are most likely to be out of whack in the morning. To keep your level in a healthy range, you may have to limit carbohydrates(breads, cereal, fruit, and milk), boost yourprotein (eggs, cheese, peanut butter, nuts) , and possibly avoid fruit and juice altogether Other ways to help regulate blood sugar include: avoiding eating too many carbohydrates at one timesticking to complex carbohydrates that are high in fibercombining carbohydrates with protein or healthy fatnot skipping mealseating a protein-rich and fibrous carbohydrate breakfast.keep ur body active. Do reply if u find above answer useful. All the best.
