Answer: Hi dear if you are due date is after two weeks the baby is in cephalic position but the head is not fixed yet please do not overstress urself, because it still has time for the baby to fix the head in the birth canal and if it doesn't happen based on the situation based on your health and the baby's condition the doctor will take a call to either go for emergency C section or induce you for normal delivery but it all depends if the baby still does not engage its head in the pelvis so for now what you can do it you can start working as much as you can and stimulate your nipple as I have heard that it helps in triggering labour .. Hope this helps and all the best !

Question: During 32nd week of pregnancy, fetal well being USG was done. It shows that fetus head is in cephalic position, and head is not yet fixed. So is it possible that in later stage of pregnancy, cephalic position might change?
Answer: Head fixes by 32 weeks in first time pregnancy???? Absolutely wrong. May be by 37/ 38 weeks and its not a rule set in stone , just a probability. True CephaloPelvic Disproportion happens only when you have had a disorder did Scury D or rickets or have had an accident involving pelvic bones. I am sure your Pelvic is in excellent shape and your baby will descend normally. Baby weight has nothing to do with descent so dont even go there. Please do some squatting exercises, walking , climbing stairs maybe but dont strain yourself too much to cause pain. Baby will descend or maybe will happen just before labor or during labor and its important to be active and moving around and not just lying on your back during labor.
