Answer: Hi! Since you have just completed the first trimester it is common. Welcome to the first phase of parenthood! Keep something to eat besides bed while sleeping at night. First thing in the morning instead of getting up(sitting) put something in mouth and chew properly for a minute or so (lying on bed itself) and then get up and sit ..it helps a lot in settling down acidity and gastritis. Cold milk without sugar.. 2 3 sips after every hour, vanilla icecream, avoid canned juices, have coconut water, chewing gum can give temporary relief, you should have dinner early at least 1.5-2 hours before sleep can drink a glass of cold milk before sleeping. Dont worry it will get better in 2nd trimester. Hope you feel better soon!

They take a long time to break down and digest. Also, sodas and fruity, fizzy drinks are packed with empty calories and can cause gas. U can also use some home remedies. Soak one spoon methi at night in a glass of water a d drink that water after straining methi. Also u can have ginger tea early morning. U can also eat ginger with honey after every meal to make sure a proper digestion.

Answer: Hello dear. Dear below are some of my own tried and tested tips for gas during my pregnancy - : 1.) Try smaller, more frequent meals 2.) Exercise 3.) Drink plenty of water 4.) Watch what food you eat 5.) Avoid artificial sweeteners, carbonated drinks and fatty fried foods. 6.) Under situations of severe gas, a small piece of jaggery will help relieve it. Based on my personal experience as nothing worked for me in 8th month and this remedy helped. 7.) Having green leafy veges and fruits. 8.) Fiber intake should be increased more of salads with lunch and dinner will help. Morning breakfast you can have with oats to help in constipation. Hope this helps
