Question: My little baby boy is 2 months 25 days. He sleeps for 8-9 hours at night. He doesn't wake up for milk also. Is this normal? Should I wake him up for feed?
Answer: Hello dear. Kids at this age need feed every 3 hours...if they sleep at stretch in night for 8-9 hours then baby should get the feed in between. Wake the baby up and feed in between if he doesn't get up due to hunger. Proper feeding at regular intervals is must...it's normal so while good sleep is crucial regular fedding is equally important for kids.

This is one of my favorite techniques. It works really well, and it doesn't require much energy from a tired mom.bicycle baby's legs and armsfeed baby in a light and noisy environmentCrown Reflex- Dance your fingers on the crown of baby's head (firmly but not hard). This helps to lengthen feeds by keeping baby sucking and swallowing.Palmar Reflex- massage baby's palms in a circle with your thumbs. Do this for up to a minute if needed to help baby open his mouth and get ready to nurse.
