Question: period after delivery

Answer: Hi, Your periods will take longer to come back if you're breastfeeding. It can be up to a year before you have a period, as long as you're breastfeeding round the clock....and as soon as it could be come after 1 and half month.  If you're formula-feeding your baby, you may start your periods again any time between five weeks and three months after giving birth. So you could be fertile again just three weeks after having your baby. but make sure u opt for protection while having sex as still u can get pregnant.
