Answer: Hello, It basically indicates the resistance in the blood flowing through that artery. It does not mean that there must be a defect in your uterine artery. The exact cause of this notching s not found yet. Don't worry it will resolved in 2nd trimester. But it doesn't resolve than iugr indicated.. your doctor will let you know.. But don't worry and stay positive.. do as your doctor say.. everything will be fine..
