Question: My pregnant wife is suffering from mild cough and cold. She is not willing to do COVID test. She is taking all home remedies e.g gargle, vapour, kadha and go for home isolation. Will she recover without taking any medicine?
Answer: It is possible to recover from covid without medication but it will entirely depend on infection percentage and symptoms she has. I was covid positive a month ago but I had only weakness, no cough or cold or fever and my pulse and oxygen levels were good. I was able to recover without any medication and good intake of liquids(atleast 3.5liters) and food.
I understand your position as we ladies are little stubborn about taking medication thinking it might affect our little ones growing inside but Please keep checking her oxygen levels and temperature. If you find any deviation consult doctor.
