9 weeks pregnant mother

Question: My tsh is 10.76. Dr. Suggested me to take 50 mcg. Is it ok? Please advise.

Answer: Hi dear, Your TSH is high.your doctor is right .you need to start taking medicine for thyroid now to bring the TSH atleast around 3.in pregnancy the requirement of thyroid increases ,so one must keep the TSH level well under control.rake the medicine in empty stomach in morning daily.

Question: I am 11 weeks pregnant but my th TSH levels are six. doctor suggested me to take 25 MG tablets is it ok r i have to take 50 mg please answer me
Answer: My TSH level is lower than yours, close to 4. Still, i have been advised 75 MG. It would be better to take a second opinion to be sure.
