Question: My son is 18 months old. He is having vitamin D deficiency. How it can be increased. Though he is getting good exposure of sun Ray's.

Answer: Dear sun Ray's are good and help alot . With that Some of the fishes like Salmon, Tuna , and cod fish are good source of Vitamin D. Mushrooms provide good quantity of Vitamin D . Cheese and eggs also have Vitamin D. Besides these natural sources of Vitamin D there are synthetic or fortified sources of Vitamin D. They are milk and dairy products , orange ,bread ,yogurt, soy products and cereals. It is always better to consult a doctor , for proper treatment of Vitamin D deficiency . A doctor can suggest proper diet and medication required.
