Question: My suger level is high....dr are saying suger can go in baby also....m tensed....what should i do ??

Answer: Hi dear, do not take tension, voz it will increase ur sugar level again, do some simple steps. always eat in small portions, due to pregnancy hormones , your body is not producing insulin which is required. So eat in small portion always. Divide your meals properly, 3 main meals and 3 snacks in every 2 hours , walk regularly for 15 mins after evey main meals ,do kill exercise in the morning, keep hydrated yourself. decrease carbohydrates and increase protein, coz carbohydrates converts into sugar to metabolize and protein doesn't. Meet some endocrinologist and dietician for proper diet chart.

Answer: Hi! If you have GDM be sure it does not pass through to your baby but yes due to high glucose levels baby's weight might increase than gestational age, baby may be too large. Check your diet and reduce carb intake. take Doc prescribed medicine and it will be controlled. Walk daily and include lots of fruits, veggies and fish in your diet.
