Answer: Dear a fall in hemoglobin levels during pregnancy is caused by a greater expansion of plasma volume compared with the increase in red cell volume.it is common in 2nd trimester than 1st and 3rd trimester.so continue taking iron supplimentation twice daily, folic acid and vitamin C.take iron rich foods like spinach and kale.all fruits especially apples and pomegranate, vegetables like beet root carrot , jaggery, red meat, fish dates with milk.take care
