Question: My due date is july 30 but when i consult doctor she told me to get admit on 27th and prefer cytotec induction.. why they opted cytotec induction before due date? Am afraid of c-section..Anyone please help
Cytotec is a pill that is given to pregnant women to induce the pain and open the cervix if cervix is not at all dailated . doctor incerts the pill on the cervex, which causes the cervex to soften. as you are only in your 38 week so there must be some reason that your doctor has advised you this. Because there are still 3 weeks . But don't worry dear cytotec will induce the labour pain and you can give birth to your bundle of joy vaginally.. .

Question: my due date was 24 Aug bt till date there is no baby dropping and no labour pain.. doctor told us to wait.. plz suggest what to do ?
Answer: Hello dear, you can use castor oil. Castor oil is a liquid laxative that you can find in most drug and health food stores. There are three main ways it works to induce labor: It induces contractions in the bowels.
In general, it takes about two to six hours before you feel the first effects of using castor oil, such as cramps and diarrhea. If it's going to happen, labor might begin up to 24 hours after drinking the oil.
Take castor oil in the morning after a good night's sleep. Take several small doses (1-1.5 tablespoons) of castor oil 3-4 hours apart rather than one big dose.
Hope it helped, take care urself....
