Answer: Hi dear,
Do not worry if you are breastfeeding your baby. Most of the breastfed babies can go without pooping for a week and it is very normal. If your baby is formula fed,you need to poop your baby everyday. Kindly check your doctor if your baby is formula fed and not pooped for that long.if breastfed no need to worry.
Question: My 3 months old daughter was not taking feed after vaccination. I gave her solib sachet thinking its given to reduce gas. Now my baby isn't passing motion. And she is crying alot. Please help
Answer: Hello dear. It is norm for the babies to not take feed after vaccine and they get back to normal after sometime on their own. As ur baby is cruing after the medicine I would suggest first consulting doctor. Try these steps to prevent and ease the pain of constipation:-
1.) Burp Often. Burping helps relieve gas by allowing air to escape from the body, keeping it from building up.
2.) Keep Baby Upright while breastfeeding
3.) Pump Baby's Legs
4.) Draw a Warm Bath
5.) Try a Baby Massage
6.) Track ur Diet.
7.) Check feeding position. "When you're nursing or bottle-feeding, try to keep the baby's head higher than her stomach.
Hope this helps.
