Answer: Hi. Here is complete diet chart for 11 month old. By following this properly your baby will gain adequate amount of weigh. Monday Start the week with breast milk early in the morning, followed by dalia khichdi for breakfast. Parents should keep in mind that mid-mornings should be kept as time when the infant consumes breast milk. Lunch can be something as simple as rice with plain dal preceded by breast milk at mid-morning. Fruit of any kind is the best kind of snack during early evening. Make your child have paneer dosa for dinner and breast milk at nighttime. Tuesday Start the weekday with breast milk early in the morning. Followed by vegetable dosa or idli for breakfast. Mid-morning food cravings must be satiated with breast milk. Lunch should homemade curd rice followed by a cooked carrot or a potato salad for the evening snack. Oats and banana porridge for breakfast and finally ending the day with mommy’s milk. Wednesday It is a great time to introduce fun foods like macaroni and cheese. Incorporate them in the breakfast menu after the early morning breast milk meal. Continue lunch with similar Moong dal khichdi, snack time can be banana pancakes (which is a great hit among toddlers) and dinner can be even more exciting with stuffed parathas. All of these should be fed keeping in mind the mandatory breastfeeding sessions at mid morning and before the child goes to bed. Thursday Follow the early morning breastfeeding routine. Use ragi in dosa batter or make a green gram dosa for breakfast. Feed the little one breast milk between lunch and breakfast. Keep lunch to a simple menu of rice and mild sambar followed by apple carrot soup for the evening snack. Maintain the carbohydrate intake by substituting rice with roti along with a mild vegetable curry followed by breastmilk before bedtime. Follow the early morning breastfeeding routine. Later serve your child wheat pancakes or wheat dosa for breakfast. Either of Mixed rice or idli/ steamed dosa for lunch or dinner, snack time meal can be full glass of apple milkshake. And needless to say mid-morning and before bedtime meals should be kept to breast milk only. Saturday Kick start the weekend with a bread omelet preceded by the breastfeeding session in the morning. Wait no longer to serve the mashed ghee rice along with egg bhurji. Your child is old enough to enjoy and digest proteins comfortably. Let him have a glass of fruit smoothie with curd as an evening snack followed by any kind of variety dosa for dinner. But do remember to maintain the breastfeeding regime during mid-morning and just before nighttime. Sunday Have your child taste upma after the early morning breast milk on a Sunday morning. Lentil rice is a good choice for Sunday lunch only after you have breastfed your child in between lunch and breakfast. Repeat crumbled paneer as an evening snack if your child enjoys it. Dinner can be bread upma followed by nighttime breastmilk just before the child sleeps.  As much as you enjoy feeding your child solid foods and have him enjoy eating them. Do not forget to carefully mash the foods before you serve it. It is true that most kids by now have developed teeth that help them chew but it is always safer to carefully mash the food or cut them into fine pieces to prevent your child from choking on it. Good luck and happy parenting !
