Question: My cervix length is low 2.9 cm 20 days back. Do i need complete bedrest ?

Answer: hi dear! yes dear you need bed rest and your length will be under watch dear as if it reduces further you might need a cervical cerclage(stitch) which will prevent your cervix from opening early in the pregnancy dear.and these stitches will be removed on the 37th week of the pregnancy. so right now have bed rest dear and you might need some scan also to check on the length again. take care dear.
