Question: Hi everyone! I had my NT scan and nuchal translucency thickness came to 2.5 mm and double marker test report is normal.Doctor advised for NIPT test.I am bit worried.Please someone throw some light on this.
Answer: If doctor advices to go through NIPT better to go through as only in that way you will be sure that baby is fine and has no any genetic anomaly. NIPT is not harmful at all. I guess doctor suggested blood test from which fetus DNA will be extracted and examined. It's not harmful nor for you or for baby.
