Answer: Hii dear baby weight should be increase by 500 gm every month till 3 months of age. it also depends on the birth weight and genes. If baby weight is heavy at the birth time then the final weight wi be in the heavier side. Preterm or low weight baby has a bit lower weight which is kot a matter of concern. They also achieve milestone quite late. So don't worry. And make sure to feed only mother milk to baby for 1st 6 months of age. All the best

Question: My baby's birthweight was 2.1kg.. She weighs 4.6kg on 123rd day.. Is it normal?? Please reply..
Answer: Hi. Yes dear your baby has gained weight fine. A healthy newborn is expected to lose 7% to 10% of the birth weight, but should regain that weight within the first 2 weeks or so after birth. During their first month, most newborns gain weight at a rate of about 1 ounce (30 grams) per day. Or 1 kg of weight each month till 6 month of age. So according to your babies birth you can calculate it.
