Answer: hi it is OK some baby sleeps during the day and is awake at night where are some other babies have they sleeping patterns and vise versa so do not worry usually make sure that the baby sleeps for about 12 to 14 hours in a day if the baby is sleeping less than this then you should consult to the doctor the baby is crying after passing pink is also normal it is because small babies do not understand the exert pressure that they put while passing urine and therefore they may cry it can also be due to urinary track infection but if it continues you should consultant doctor and till then you can apply coconut oil to the private part of the baby to see if it helps

Question: My baby s 14days old...he s sleeping for 3hrs continuously and not sleeping continuously for another three hours....keep on sucking my nipples...is it abnormal?
Answer: New born babies will sleep for longer hours.. The more they sleep the more they become healthy.. But wake the baby after every hour or two and feed.. Sucking the nipple for longer time means the milk is not sufficient to the baby.. Start taking healthy diet.. Include garlic, bitter guard, keema, milk, bread, rusk, drumsticks in ur diet.. Drink plenty of water. Drink a glass of water before every feed and start feeding the baby..

Question: My baby was not peeing during night for 3days..he will pee during day time,bt not in night while sleeping. Is it normal
Answer: Some things to consider, to assess the situation: Did he eat and drink as usual during these hours? When he did urinate, was the pee light colored and with a mild smell? If the urine seems to be concentrated (dark yellow, sharp smell), then your son might simply need to drink some more water. Is he showing any signs of holding back? He could be holding back because it is painful to pee.Does he have any fever or any other sign of illness that could indicate for example a urinary tract infection? If he shows no other signs of illness, I wouldn’t worry too much, just make sure you offer him liquid on a regular basis. Even just a mouth full now and then is much better than nothing.
