Question: My baby is 1 mnth old but his w8 is only 2.8 kg how to increase his w8 i m very tensed

Answer: What is your baby's birth weight? For a healthy baby, the normal birth weight is about 2.5kgs or above. After a baby is born, it's weight will decrease for the first few days. It is normal. Because they will be learning how to drink milk (either breastfeeding or bottle feeding). Within a few days, they will start drinking milk sufficiently. From 2nd month onwards, the baby's weight will gradually increase and by the end of the 3rd month, baby will look very healthy and chubby. So don't worry as long as you feed the baby for every 1 to 2 hours and as long as as baby wets 6 to 7 diapers per day.
