Answer: Hi, Babies will keep changing their sleep patterns for up-to a year or more. Try giving her a bath in the evening with nice hot water after a good oil massage. This helps putting her to sleep during the night. Avoid excessive sleeping during the day. Leave her unpacked and allow her to play during the afternoons. Being a new member of the family all the other members show their love towards her by carrying her in their lap mostly. Their love is needed but try and avoid carrying her too much in the lap. So that she doesn't crib to sleep on the bed at night. You too avoid keeping her in lap once feeding is done. Take a pillow while feeding. Once she dozes off after filling her tummy. Slowly slide the pillow down to the bed and make her sleep comfortably on it. Varying sleep patterns should not be concern when she is atleast taking the feed.
