Question: Is it recommended to use candid dust powder for baby ? he is suffering from prickly heat.
Answer: Hello! No, please donot use candid powder for babies without consulting the doctor. Cool off. Loosen or remove your baby's clothing, and move him into an air-conditioned room or a shady spot. Run cool water over his skin to rinse away sweat and body oil. You can also apply cool, wet washcloths to lower the temperature of the affected skin. Dry the skin. Let him air-dry or use a fan to dry and cool him off, rather than rubbing him with a towel. And unless your baby's doctor has instructed you to do so, don't use ointments or creams on the rash. Let the skin breathe. Expose your baby's skin to the air as much as possible – let him be naked, or dress him in a light layer of loose, soft clothing. You may want to trim your baby's fingernails so he doesn't scratch himself if the rash starts itching.
