Question: My baby 3 mnth 17 days old he has hair loss and not sleeping day time
Answer: Avoid wearing synthetic caps for the baby. Switch to cotton caps. Baby losing hairs is very common due to fungal infection in scalp very early. Your doctor will advise you antifungal ointments once your baby crosses 6 months. Though steroids can be given I will advise to not to start steroids instead try boiling fresh kadwa neem leaves in coconut oil with a pinch of camphor and apply to baby's scalp. You can do the same trick with mustard oil in winters. Coconut causes body cooling. Keep monitoring the bald patch if it has started showing. It will get corrected once antifungal is started. Meanwhile, keep your babies head dry and open. Also, watch if you are using using synthetic pillows. Switch to cotton. Maintain hygiene wash baby's bedding in detoll water. Take care.

Make the room temp. Comfortable and soothing. Keep the atmosphere quite. Before trying to sleep baby do feed well. Make sure to play with baby before making sleep so that baby can sleep properly .
