Question: My baby is 15 months old. She doesn't eat sweet food. What can I give her in salty or other tastes?

Answer: Hi.. Dear breast feed or formula milk still remains the prior part of your baby 's diet. You can give semi liquid porridges (vegetable khichdi, lentil and rice porridges), boiled and mashed potatoes, bananas (mashed or in the form of smoothie). Avoid bananas during winters. If the baby is able to digest these food sources, then introduce ragi, oats, dalia. You can also make some cottage cheese and potato cutlets etc. Try to make her eat seasonal fruits.

Answer:  U can make her eat below things for gaining weight. And as per below schedule. 1. Wake up time 7 am 2. Give a baby gentle oil massage 3. Breastfeed the baby and make the baby sleep 4. 9am breakfast 5. 11am mid day breakfast start some teething dishes 6. Bath time around 11.30am 7. Make baby sleep with breastfeed 8. 1.30pm lunch 9. Breastfeed and at 3pm sleep again 10. 5pm evening snack 11. 8 pm dinner 12. 9pm breastfeed , massage and sleep The diet : Ragi porridge, ragi and nuts porridge, ragi apple kheer, ragi banana kheer, ragi halwa, ragi pancakes, ragi idli, daliya, daliya with apple and banana porridge, apple kheer, banana shake, chiku, papaya, pumpkin, carrot, watermelon purée, sooji upma, sooji kheer, sooji apple banana porridge, sooji pancakes, banana pancakes, white egg, makhana kheer, veggie khichdi, vegetable soup includes tomato, broccoli, carrot, spinach, beetroot, potato, sweet potatoes, onion , ginger, bottle gourd, etc Ragi dosa, sooji dosa, 1 egg, chicken soup, Zukini, boiled veggies, teething biscuit, soup sticks, cheese wraps, curd rice, rabdi , etc You can also make a dry fruits powder which will be really helpful for u to gain weight. 100 gms Badam/Almonds100 gms Pista100 gms Cashew½ tsp Saffron strands1 teaspoonNutmeg/Jaiphal powder (grated)½ teaspoon Turmeric Powder.(optional) METHOD Dry Roast Badam, Pista and cashews.In a pan heat the saffron strands till their colour turns little darker and switch off the gas.Grate the nutmeg into powder.Powder all the roasted ingredients together in a mixie. U can use this dry fruits powder in roti or any curry AS well. except them you can give everything which you cook in your kitchen.
