Question: My baby has very sensitive skin since his birth. We tried everything starting frim changing his soap, cream to changing his cloth fabric but nothing worked. During night his skin gets itchy. Specially the eye lids, ear lobe and head. He cries a lot that time. Finally started giving levocitrizine on doctors recommendation. Butbi feel too much if medicine can harm him. It happens regularly. I have stopped doing his massage with oil because it causes prickly heat kinds on his body. Pls suggest how to cure his skin problem.
Answer: Hi dear i m so sorry to hear dear. Trust me I can understand ur pain well. I also gone through that stage and so helpless to cure my baby allergy. He had some skin allergy which was not going on inspite of so many precautions. Then I came to know about a good dermatologist from healofy chat group. Moms in grouo advised me to consult expert inspite of going for general pediatric. And trust me sister it worked well. That dermatologist gone through some blood check up and I got to know my baby was lactogen intolerant. So better u also consult dermatologist. They know there work better. N i m sure ur baby problem will.be cured well.
Question: There is itching on all over my body including palms ,sole etc, I just want to ask that is there any remedy for this or is it normal ???
Answer: Hello dear... Mild itching is common in pregnancy,it happen due to blood supply to body,but if you have severe itching it may due to obestic cholestatis,you can try these remedies it may help you..
If you have itching,it is better to have bath twice day,and apply moisturizer or baby lotion is advisable
Reduce the intake of salt
If you have salt content in your body,it may also cause itching,so reduce intake of salt
Wear loose clothes
During pregnancy , don't wear heavy or tight clothes,it may also trigger itching,so it is better to opt for skin friendly fabric like cotton, chiffon.
Drink more water
Staying yourself hydrated,will help you to flush out toxins,so that it may help to reduce itching
You can apply coconut oil before bath,and leave it for twenty minutes,and then wash,best remedy for itching
Homemade bath powder
To avoid itching,better to opt for herbal bath powder than chemical based soaps,will reduce itching
Question: Hi doctor...i am 37 weeks pregnant and i have got a pile/hemorrhoid in my anal area. Its slightly painful at times but no bleeding is there. I just want to ask if it is going to interfere or cause problems in vaginal delivery?
