Question: my daughter is now 8month old she is doing green potty from 10days 4 to 5 times a day.
Answer: Do not worry. It's normal if your baby is on formula feed. Also note if your baby is constipated or applies too much pressure while doing potty. If she cries duri during potty? Check for stomach tightness and fever. If there are no symptoms as such then its normal of your baby to go look up to 7 times a day of not worry. Continue the breastfeed if you ate doing it and always let your baby finish drinking from one breast before offering her other side, as many a times babies don't get hindmilk and that also causes green stools. Also drink 10-12 glasses of water to help your baby get good milk and nutrient ratio. Hope it helps! Take care

Question: My baby's 4th month started and she is doing potty 7-8 times in a day from 3-4 days and potty colour is green. she is not doing fart from last 10 days.. Please suggest what to do?
Answer: Hey, There are majorly 3 reasons for baby to pass green stool. First, imbalance in foremilk and hindmilk. When baby takes only foremilk he is likely to pass green stool. For this feed baby for minimum of 20mins each breast. This way he ll get hindmilk. Second, When baby has any bacterial or viral infection like cold and cough. Apply nutmeg paste on baby's chest feet and palms daily at night. And you can also use mustard garlic ajwain oil to massage his body. Third, It could be due to stomach infection. In this case get stool test done.

Answer: Hello dear this is normal don't worry.. Pooping 10 times is normal in breastfeeding or formula feed babies.. Consistently green stools in the breastfed baby can indicate: an imbalance of foremilk/hindmilk, often resulting in frothy green stools. a sensitivity to something in the mother's diet, such as cow's milk products. ... Teething can also bring about green stools due to increased saliva (can also cause tummy upset).. So first empty one breast and then start feeding the other side..
