Question: My baby is 42 days old she has blocked nose and she is coughing too.....what to do....i am using nasoclear for blocked nose but what about for cough?

Answer: Check with pediatrician.. As the climate is too cold in some places cover ur baby completly.. Don't give any thing other than breast milk

I am sharing some remedies which have always worked for my daughter.For cold...put some garlic cloves in a thread and make the child wear it like a neckpiece the garlic cloves should touch the chest it will help control the running nose,chest cogestion. Also u can make an oil to massage at night. Take mustard oil and put methi dana,ajvain,garlic and neem leaves. Heat the oil till all dese ingredients are golden brown. Let it cool and strain the oil. Heat the oil when u use it. U can massage the chest ,back and feet with this oil before the child sleeps. Make sure to make the child wear socks after u massage with this oil it will double the effect. Hope this all helps 😊

Answer: Hi dear... apart from what u are doing, u can also add few drops of your breast milk in both the nostrils. These will also help her from blocked nose and cure cold. Keep breastfeeding as the breast milk has antibodies which helps to fight with infections like cold. Also massage warm mustard oil with garlic cloves on the hands and feet. take care

Question: My 4 month 20 days old daughter has blocked nose due to cold. she is unable to breastfeed or sleep. I'm using nasoclear saline nasal spray but it is not being very effective. please suggest what to do.
Answer: Dear give steam to baby. Just keep a steamer in the room and add some vicks or ginger in the water and let the steamer on for 1-2 hours and then switch it off.. let baby sleep in that steamy room this will open baby's blocked nose and help her get a good sleep and breastfeed properly..
