Question: My baby is 9 days old and since 5 days he has not passed motion...
Answer: Hi dear
As the only source of feed for the baby is breast milk there is nothing to worry for 10 days.. if the baby is not feeding properly or if you feel that the normal urination and other activities are reduced you can go to the paed doctor. You keep feeding the baby on regular intervals and there might be a chance that if the baby's stmach fills completely and still feeding continues he or she will pass motion.. keep observing his stomach, it should be loose always. If its hard then check with doctor after 10 days if the baby doesnt pass stool.
