Question: Ma baby is one month 5 days old..she cries while passing urine and poop..is this normal??
Answer: crying while a baby urinates or poos is very common and nothing to worry about. There are two reasons for this: 1. Irritation the urine causes. While in the mothers womb they will be in a fluid medium, and the temperature is always constant. But in the outside world, as they pass urine, the urine becomes cold or too hot as the temperature drops suddenly. And the coldor heat makes your baby cry. 2.Bladder pressure. While passing urine the bladder contracts forcefully and the sensation is new for them. Because of the uncomfortable sensation they tend to cry.
