Question: My baby is 43 days old we suppose to go for penta virus and rota virus vaccine for her 45days. Is it ok after 60 days for vaccine.
Answer: rotavirus and penta virus vaccines have 3 dosages in first 3 months. first in one and half month, second in two and half month and third in three and half month . if baby is having fever or cold or cough then your paediatrician may advice for delaying of the vaccine other than that you should not delay your vaccine. if you are already late for these vaccines then talk to your pediatrician once and get it done as soon as possible. gap of one or two week may not harm your baby but still you should consult your doctor . after 60 days there will be second dose of these vaccines, so if you skip first dose , then it might not Be effective. Please consult to your doctor.
