Question: Good evening sir..
My newborn baby is 18 days old.. he cries while passing urine and poop.. is that normal ??
Its very common in such little babies, its their way of giving you cues that they want to pee or poop, actually the urge makes them uncomfortable hence they cry..
And keep yourself hydrated as you are feeding your child.
Hope this helps!
Question: my baby boy is 4 months and 13 days old he passes urine frequently BT today he is not passing like always is there any problem.as I saw him not passing urine I gave him water and also bm
Answer: Hello dear don't give water until your baby start holding the neck.. For newborn babies, a rule of thumb is that they should produce 6-8 heavy diapers per 24 hours after a few days of living. Since such young babies have very small bladders, it probably means that they will pee one to several times per hour. During the very first few days of living, newborn babies will not pee very much. For young babies, 1-3 hours in between peeing is seen normal
Older babies are likely to pee less often since they both have larger bladders and eat solid foods. A urination frequency of 4-6 hours (or more often) is then normal.
At some point, your baby is going to start gaining some degree of bladder control, and then he or she is even more likely to urinate less often.
In very hot weather, a baby might pee less frequently, just like adults.
Question: My 2 months old baby poop ( passing stool ) once in 2-3 days is it normal ??
Answer: it is normal, specially if she is on exclusive breast feed , cause almost all of it is absorbed by the body and there is not much left to poo out.Start massaging her little belly giving a little pressure, in a clockwise motion (this helps clogged gas and poop to move through the intestines)..it is effective.
