Answer: About the small hole these are vsd.VSD is a heart defect due to an abnormal connection between the lower chambers of the heart i.e ventricles, these defects most commonly seen in left ventricle. And are common heart defect in new born.
Most of the times small defects repair on their own.But your baby would need to be monitored every two weeks, dr. will ask a post natal visit to do ecg/Ek and MRI if required.
If the hole measures 2mm or less then do not worry.
Every month baby will be monitored and evaluated about the healing process.
If at all baby shows following

3.Murmurs or sever cramping in limber hands and legs.
Then it can be a problem and surgery would be required.
But if not severe they will call baby in 6 months to check if surgery required.
Although this problem will be fine by the age of 2.
Do not worry.
