By 6th month end, babies usually double their weight.
U can try ragi milk porridge, rice porridge.
Dont add salt/ any other sweeteners for baby under 1 year.
Pls try only one food at a time. Give a gap of three days to try another food, so that you can see baby's reaction to the food you introduced.
Completely puree everything. This is very important. Sometimes baby refuse food due to their texture.
As baby is transitioning from bm to solids, each baby takes its own time.
Give water in regular intervals & after food.
Don't stop bm...pls feed bm as well.along with solids.
Good luck !
Answer: Suru ke 6 month aapke baby ko sirf aur sirf mother feeding chahiye. Kam se Kam 1 saal tak cow milk is not advisable for kids. Formula milk is the good option till 1 year.
Uske baad aap slowly solid food introduce kara sakti hain jaise:
1. Daal ka pani
4. Vegetables paste
5. Boiled and mashed fruits
6. Manna ragi for bonnie babies.
Ragi is really very good for the kids.
readymade cerelac is not very healthy for kids. you should give only when you are somewhere outside and only in case of emergency when you cant cook. in india nestle is a popular brand
Hope this helps. :)
Answer: Thank you so much

Question: My daughter is 7 months 3 weeks old still she is not taking solid food..if we give she starts crying and refusing it...she is having milk and cerelac alone...how to make her have solid foods..
Answer: Some kids take time to get used to regular food. Start with smooth purées. First foods should be easy to digest, very soft and a texture that's close to the milk or formula your baby is used to. Start with baby rice cereal, maize-based cereals mixed with a bit of breast or bottle milk, or vegetables or fruit.
Slowly start introducing semi solids (tasty) like porridge, kanji, with small pieces of boiled fruits veggies etc.
It would need some patience, experiments and new receipes for kids. As they start accepting the taste, it would be easier for you.
