Question: My baby completed 4 month on 31st May, and her weight is 5.7. Her birth weight was 2.9.is it ok?
Answer: Hi dear,
Your baby weight is slightly lower than the average weight.it should have been 6 kgs by now.
Right now your milk is the only source of nutrition for our baby.moreover the first 7 days baby would.loose all water weight.so you would find some loss of weight in baby ,which is normal.but baby should gain back the birth weight in next three weeks .and with in first three months baby must double the birth weight .frequent feeding especially every 2-3 hours in first month and then 3-4 hours in second month is must for healthy weight gain.you need to eat healthy so that baby gains faster.,you need to consume:
eat balanced diet including fresh vegetables and fruits. increase your diet by eating extra 500 calories in a day.include lot of proteins, especially from animal meat.like egg, chicken, mutton ,fish.drink plenty of water too
Feed from one breast full, only then hind milk, which is the richest milk can be accessible to your baby.foremilk is thinner and only quenches thirst

Answer: Hello...First thing you need to do is massage the baby everyday before bathing her, you can use dabur lal tel.. I used it for my daughter as well, it helps in bone strengthening.. Let it rest for about fifteen minutes.. Bathe your child using a mild baby body wash.. Other than this, breast feed your baby in every two hours (include dairy products and dry fruits in your diet) .. Weigh your child again a fifteen days time.. If you see no improvement, then visit a pediatrician and ask him /her to recommend a formula milk for the growth of child...
