Question: In my growth scan showing that placenta is anterior wall,uppersegment..is it normal or any problem???plz help me..
Answer: hi interior wall upper segment only means that the baby is on the anterior side of the uterus. as it is on the upper segment there is nothing to worry if your doctor had mentioned it to be low lying then it had indicate that you had low lying placenta and in that case you required to be taken lot of precautions to avoid any kind of complications attached to it as well as as if it was a low lying then there was possibility of having a cesarean delivery but as you have a upper segment there is nothing to worry it is normal you can deliver your baby vaginally if the baby's position is cephalic .
