Answer: Hello! the total weight gain in pregnancy which is considered to be healthy is 12-15 kgs. Which comes to around 1.25-1.5 kgs per month. Try to have all healthy food like vegetables, fruits, whole grains, dry fruits, milk, pulses. Avoid any sort of fried, oily or spicy food. Avoid having sweets, it does not give any nutritional value and increases your weight. Try to have a whole fruit rather than juices, it has fibre and gives you more nutrition. Avoid caffeine and carbonated drinks, they also tend to increase weight without any nutritional value. Eat healthy is the main motto and also go for walk for 15 mins in the morning and 15 mins in the wve.
