Question: mam pls tell me the remedies for gestational diabetes....my blood glucose levels r high...it was an ivf pregnancy...will it cause any harm to baby. what precautions i need to take

Answer: hi it is advisable to maintain the sugar level before you should try these you should come down on the sugary food and item on fried food on oily food you should also cut down on carbs you should take regular walks this will help to maintain the sugar levels you should also consult to the doctor for proper medications if the sugar levels and how it can lead to the complications like preterm delivery

Answer: Hi! If you have GDM be sure it does not pass through to your baby but yes due to high glucose levels baby's weight might increase than gestational age, baby may be too large. Check your diet and reduce carb intake. take Doc prescribed medicine and it will be controlled. Walk daily and include lots of fruits, veggies and fish in your diet.
