Question: am 16 weeks pregnant nd still am not able to hear my baby's heartbeat
Answer: Hello! Baby's heartbeat cannot be heard, I am sure you must be talking about the movements of the baby. Ideally pregnant ladies start feeling around 19-24 weeks. But if it's your first pregnancy than you might feel bit later. According to the baby growth initially the movements are not that intense and you feel occasionally. Those gentle fluttering feelings in your tummy (quickening) are your baby's movements. But if you had a baby before than you might feel as early around 13-16 weeks. But if you didn't feel till 24 weeks do check with your doctor. She will check baby heartbeat.

Question: I am 3 weeks pregnant when will I be able to hear the heartbeat
Answer: Hello dear. The baby's heart starts to beat at around 6 weeks. You may be able to hear and see your baby's heart beat for the first time when you're about 8 weeks pregnant. This would be a great experience and all the best. Take care.

Question: Hi i m 18 weeks pregnant. I m not being able to feel baby movements yet. What should I do
Answer: You'll probably start to be aware of something at about18 weeks to 20 weeks of your pregnancy. If this is your first pregnancy, it may take you a bit longer to realise that those gentle fluttering feelings in your tummy (quickening) are your baby's movements. If you've had a baby before, you'll know the tell-tale signs, and may notice your baby moving around as early as 16 weeks.  Either way, if you haven't felt any movement from your baby by 24 weeks, see your gyne. She'll listen for your baby's heartbeat and arrange an ultrasound scanor other checks if they’re needed
