Planning for pregnancy

Question: Its 31 days after my laproscopic hysterectomy....i didn't get my periods yet....except for a small discharge yesterday...is it normal to get a delayed period after a lapro or shoud i consult Doctor.

Answer: Hi dear ! In the procedure of hysterectomy your entire uterus is removed through surgery and once your uterus is removed there is no way that you can have your normal regular periods back so if you have any confusion please do consult your doctor .. Hope this helps!

    Sory, i think i have spelt it wrongly,its hysteroscopy and not hysterectomy....No actually im under infertility treatment and nowadays tube test s conducted through laproscopy and hysteroscopy.some blocks,polyps and cysts have been cleared during the process.

Answer: hie it is completely normal nothing to worry about. periods can resume anytime between 4 to 15 months post delivery it depends on how well your body is responding to the changes if you are breastfeeding your baby it would only post 6 months from delivery.
