Question: Is that important to take NeuroTabs Potassium iodate tablet during first 3 months of pregnancy???

Answer: hi dear! so the normal requirement of iodine in pregnancy is approx 220mcg per day which can met by having dietary sources of iodine. like having a cup of milk generally has approx 95mcg of iodine 1 gram iodized salt (about 1/8 teaspoon): 77 mcg one medium baked potato with skin: 60 mcg one large egg, hard boiled: 12 mcg if you are a non veg then shrimps also have certain amount of iodine in them approx 30mcg. so additional tablets if you dont take then also its good. and always rememeber never to start or stop any mediciations without consulting your doctor. take care dear! i hope this information was useful to you !

    Thank you. I am in New Zealand and my midwife prescribed me this tablet. After that I miscarried after 3 weeks. When I checked in google, it is showing as this tablet can do changes in thyroid conditions and fetal harm.
