Answer: During pregnancy, your body produces about 50 percent more blood and other body fluids to help baby grow. (In fact, about 25 percent of your pregnancy weight gain is from fluid retention—take that, double cheeseburger and fries!) And some of that extra fluid is going to fill up your tissues, especially in your hands, feet, legs and ankles. What do all these fluids do? They help soften your body, allowing your joints and tissues to open up and prepare for delivery. You’ll typically see more swelling around your fifth month, lasting through the third trimester.

Gently exercise to move the excess fluid, and keep your legs raised whenever possible. Drinking chamomile tea could also help. Exercise & massage helps to relieve the pain.

Answer: Hello dear, your situation is Normal. It happens in pregnancy because your body is holding on to more fluid than usual. Don't cross your legs or ankles while sitting. Stretch your legs frequently while sitting: Stretch out your leg, heel first, and gently flex your foot to stretch your calf muscles. Rotate your ankles and wiggle your toes. Take regular breaks from sitting or standing. Frequent short walks will keep your blood from pooling in your lower extremities. Drink plenty of water.. Try to have about 8 glass of water or other hydrating beverages each day. Exercise regularly. Activities like walking, swimming or riding  are good options. Eat a healthy diet and limit junk food.

Answer: Yes dear. Swelling on foot is normal in pregnancy. Soak feet in lukewarm water add salt also. It will reduce swelling
