Question: Is sitting directly on floor safe for baby. Is it necessary to take stool for sitting?

Question
Answer: Sitting on floor is perfectly fine. Ur body pose is similar to sitting on bed. Avoid crossing legs wherever u r sitting. Just get up slowly without bending in front. Get up slowly on knees then put one feet in front, get up slowly taking support of ur front leg knee. I delivered in july, I sat on a mat on floor whole summers prior to that. In many families, pregnant ladies are advised to sleep on floor (on cotton dari/mattress or mat) to avoid fall from bed, mainly to provide a straight solid surface while sleeping compared to cot (charpayi) since ages. Hope it helps.

Thanks for suggestions. One more thing mam, my mother in law says sitting directly on floor with cross legs results in bigger head size of baby.. But I feel completely normal while sitting on floor. Please suggest.
