Question: Is sex safe during pregnancy

Question
Answer: Hi. A baby isn't hurt when a pregnant woman and her partner make love. The amniotic sac and the strong muscles of the uterus protect the baby, and the thick mucus plug that seals the cervix helps guard against infection. Sex during pregnancy may not be safe for women with a history of repeated miscarriages, preterm labor, bleeding, or an incompetent cervix (a condition in which the cervix effaces and dilates without contractions in the second or early third trimester, when the baby's weight puts increasing pressure on it).
Answer: Sex is only safe if your present placental condition does not signal any concern such as low lying placenta or threatened short cervix, any past history of miscarriage Taking medicines such as Duphaston/gestin/cyclogest. You can have sex till the time you are comfortable. No trying positions. No jerking. If you feel pain on the right or left side of your abdomen while having sex then you must stop for a week and check for bleeding signs. rest all okay. Do not worry. Take care.

Question: is sex safe during pregnancy
Answer: It is safe during pregnancy but care is to be taken Avoid in 1st trimester it might lead to miscarriage.  2nd & 3rd trimester are safe, but  consult your doctor before it.  Make sure that tummy is not having pressure & weight. Women with a normal pregnancy can continue to have sex with their partner; it doesn't cause any harm to the baby. The amniotic sac, as well as the strong muscles of the uterus, keep your baby safe. Orgasm may cause mild uterine contractions, but they are harmless to the baby and temporary. Cramping is normal at the time of intercourse or during orgasm, but if it doesn't go away after a few minutes or you notice bleeding after having sex, immediately call your doctor. Talk freely and clear all your doubts or concerns about sex. If u feel any pain stop & discuss which with doctor.

Question: During pregnancy, is sex safe?
Answer: sex is safe throughout pregnancy and will not hurt your baby if there are no problems. This includes the early weeks after you get pregnant. The developing amniotic fluid and sac and the muscle layers of your uterus cushion and protect your embryo from trauma as your pregnancy progresses. As long as you are comfortable, in the mood, and have an uncomplicated pregnancy, go ahead and enjoy your normal sexual activities.
