Answer: Dear you are right it should be below 2. 5. The First trimester range is : less than 2.5 with a range of 0.1-2.5. I would say there has to be a reason why your gynae hasn't prescribed medication. Talk to her ask her. Doctor are always happy to answer in such scenarios. As far as I know If the TSH is greater than 2.5 at any time during pregnancy, T4 levels should be checked to determine whether the hypothyroidism is overt or subclinical.
