Answer: Hello! It is compulsory to sleep on your sides in your pregnancy. You can keep changing sides to right and left. Sleeping on left ensures that the oxygen and nutrients properly reach the placenta and the baby. However, sleeping on right does not mean that it will stop it. But avoid sleeping on your back or straight. When you lie belly-up, the weight of your uterus can compress a major blood vessel, called the vena cava, disrupting blood flow to your baby and leaving you nauseated, dizzy, and short of breath.

Answer: Sleeping of back will keep burdan on your back muscles.. so it should be avoided.. You can sleep in any side which is comfortable for you.. but left side is best to sleep.. for blood circulation.. So left side is not compulsory.. but advisable
