Joint pains could be due to several reasons in pregnancy: 1- calcium deficiency ( increase intake of dairy products and leafy vegetables) 2- insufficient vit D(expose yourself to early morning sunlight for better absorption of calcium) 3-b12 deficiency ( increase intake of animal meat) 4- increase in uric acid 5- gouts 6- increase in body weight Use cold and hot compress to the pain area.cold weather could worsen the situation.so try to keep your self warm.elevate your legs while sitting. Question: I'm having chest pain ... Is it normal in pregnancy
Answer: Hello dear. Dear chest pain could be because of 2 reason. One is Indigestion refers to gas trapped in your stomach or chest. The pain can sometimes feel similar to heart attack symptoms, but it starts in the lower breastbone and moves upward.Gas can cause a sharp pain, while heartburn is more of a burning or warming pain and can lead to a burning sensation in the back of your throat. Secondly Your expanding uterus can put pressure on your diaphragm. Your breasts become larger, and your rib cage widens. Both of these changes cause pressure and, possibly, pain along with shortness of breath.Try lying on your left side, which takes the pressure off major blood vessels.Sometimes, though, pregnancy is just uncomfortable, and there’s little you can do but hang in there until your baby is ready to be born. A natural remedy for heartburn involves the use of baking soda (which is sodium bicarbonate) to neutralize stomach acid - mix one tablespoon in½ cup of water and drink to relieve symptoms. Hope it helps.
