Answer: Dear Anterior placenta, is where the placenta is positioned on the front wall of your uterus (womb). Fundal position, in which theplacenta lies on the top wall of your uterus. So fundo anterior means your Placenta is on the top of the uterus on front side so it's completely normal it will not do any harm to you or pregnancy..

Question: what is Fundo Anterior grade (lll)
Answer: The placenta is an organ that connects the mother’s uterine wall with the developing baby. It transports nutrients into the developing fetus. Usually, the fertilized egg implants itself in the posterior uterus, which is near to the spine. But, in some cases, the egg implants in the opposite side, that is the anterior wall of the uterus, which is close to the abdomen. Fundal anterior means top of front uterine wall. Grade 3 placenta means a mature placenta with significant calcium deposits. There are levels within this also, so there is no need to panic if baby is doing fine.Don't be worried. Most placentas reach grade 3 by 39 weeks. It's not by itself a huge problem but it calls for extra monitoring - doctor will probably ask you for regular NST and keeping track of baby movements. The doctor may also want to induce you earlier than 40 weeks depending on overall assessment by doctor of fetal nutrition continuity.

Question: what is Fundo-Anterior Grade(lll)
Answer: The placenta position is fine and has no meaning, since its in the right place. Ignore that. Grading of placenta is an indication of its maturity. You need to discuss this with the doctor. Occiput posterior is not the best position to have for the baby, but there is no reason for the baby to not turn anterior by the time your delivery comes or rotate properly during labour also. This need not be an issue at all!! Your doctor will guide you better on this. Also cord around neck is very common and in some cases requires Caesarean (not in all cases) Why dont you speak with your doc and discuss possibilities and options? There is nothing to be scared dear! Today we can see things very clearly in scans and plan for caesareans if needed well in advance!! Hopefully you wont need one! Good luck!!
